Tony's Week Projects- Week Two- Three

Introduction: This week Tony has asked us to plan an opening and closing for a thriller based in Kings Lynn. I plan to research and look at the popular fonts and graphics used in thrillers and find a common theme, I also plan to look at the demographics within Kings Lynn and find the target audience for thrillers as it most likely views by those people as it is filmed in their area. I noticed a common two themes in thriller fonts and graphics. The first two photos below show the first theme I will talk about both of these thriller films use fonts that add extra detailing to the ends of letters and lowers letters like 'j'. The second example of thriller fonts is a bold and simplistic font like below. Using bold and oversimplified fonts to give a strong look to the overall look of the other media. 8 Shot Challenge- Justin's Class Week One

12/09/18 Today in Justin's Lesson he set us a task to edit in camera eight scenes of a short film, it could be about anything and we couldn't create dialogue or have any sound within the piece. He put us into groups of three, I got put in a group with Dean and Erica, and then we all got on with storyboarding the story we wanted to create. We decided to make a story based on a stalking/ murder mystery theme. This task was to show shot types so we made sure we nearly every shot was different. We started off with a wide shot and had our protagonist walk in and pass the camera. We then went into a close tracking shot and put the antagonist behind in the backing, we made it clear but if you weren't looking for it it would be possible not to see them. Then we made a close shot of the protagonist's feet walking away and a shot of the antagonist coming out behind them. Tony's Week projects- Week Four

What am I doing? I am creating an audio anxiety attack, I chose to do this because I thought I could make the glitching effects on the video making it interesting to watch and making the audience have that tense feeling. I didn't really want to do something in a comedic way because I feel like it wouldn't have been as much as a visual and audio challenge as you can make the sounds looser and not as tightly matching up rather than putting a message to the piece of work.  As I want to going into dubbing I wanted to make sure my audio seemed natural, the visual is going to be someone standing staring at the camera and glitching out. This is more of a visual of how time stops when having an anxiety attack and how you feel inside your head.  The audio I am going to create is the illusion of 'voices in your head' as I got around 7 people to record similar negative messages that I am going to manipulate in Audition.
